Sandeep Goel is Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon. India. He holds double doctorates, one in Finance and another in Accounting from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. He completed his bachelor and master’s degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce and Delhi School of Economics¸ University of Delhi, respectively. He has over two decades of industry and academic experience across various organizations and institutions, including the Shri Ram Group, University of Delhi and MDI. He is a management trainer and consultant to top business organizations and has conducted over 200 programmes dealing with financial skills and consultancy assignments on financial management, accounting application and financial leadership. His areas of teaching and research interests are financial reporting and analysis¸ management accounting and control¸ corporate finance¸ corporate governance and earnings management. He has authored eight books including Financial Management Practices in India (2016) and Financial Statements Analysis: Cases from Corporate India (2014) and over 50 articles in journals apart from being the financial columnist for Purchase.
