Rudolf Krska ist Professor für Analytische Chemie und Leiter des Instituts für Bioanalytik und Agro-Metabolomics am Department für Agrarbiotechnologie (IFATulln) an der Universität für Bodenkultur Wien. Der ehemalige Leiter von Health Canada’s Lebensmittelforschung in Ottawa ist seit 2018 zudem Professor an der Queen’s University in Belfast und leitet seit 2017 die strategische Forschung am Kompetenzzentrum für Lebensmittelsicherheit FFoQSI. Auf diesem Gebiet gehört Krska weltweit zu den meist zitierten Forscher*innen. 2015 wurde er zum Distinguished Professor der Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences ernannt. Rudolf Krska hat 15 wissenschaftliche Auszeichnungen erhalten und ist (Mit-) Autor von 460 SCI-Publikationen,
die mehr als 18.000-mal zitiert wurden.

Professor Chris Elliott, PhD, FRSC, FRSB, MRIA, OBE. Chris is currently Professor of Food Safety and founder of the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen’s University Belfast. He served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor responsible for the Medical and Life Sciences Faculty between 2015 and 2018. He was appointed the ASEAN Professor for Global Food Security in 2022. Chris led the independent review of Britain’s food system following the 2013 horsemeat scandal. He co-ordinated a flagship Horizon 2020 project involving 16 European and 17 Chinese partners on food safety. In 2017, he was awarded an OBE. He has published more than 500 peer-reviewed articles, many of them relating to the detection and control of agriculture and food.
