The journal Advances in Computational Intelligence (ADCI) aims at covering the complete topical spectrum of Computational Intelligence ranging from design to the application and development of computational methods included in any intelligent System.
The core of Computational Intelligence (CI) traditionally relies on the pillars such as Neural Networks, Fuzzy Systems and Evolutionary Computation, Probabilistic Methods, but nature-inspired computing paradigms have evolved over the years. More recently, the field of Computational Intelligence has also been comprising deep learning methods and their implementations via convolutional neural network, generative adversial network, and so forth.
From the application point of view, CI has been adopted for supporting Ambient Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Approaches, Web Intelligence, Knowledge Mining, Cybernetic, Cyber-Physical Systems. Moreover, several deployment options ranging from edge, fog and cloud computing suggest to investigate alternative approach to design distributed CI Methods.
The purpose of the journal ADCI is to provide a high-profile publication platform, promoting and stimulating innovative research in the aforementioned areas. Covering a wide range of issues, ADCI provides a forum for researchers, academics, industrial professionals, educators involved in the field, for the publication of both experimental and theoretical research, as well as surveys and impact studies.
