Mack Wilberg's arrangement of Bach's Air in D, BWV 1068, (often known through Wilhelmj's arrangement as Air on the G string) offers a serene meditation on the words 'Alleluia, Amen'. Until the final cadence, the choir sings a single word, 'Alleluia', with the focus on the flowing lyricism of the melody, sung by the altos, and the delicate polyphonic writing that surrounds it.
