Über Autor(innen)

Dr. Bahaaeddin Alareeni is an assistant professor of accounting and auditing with extensive academic, research, and professional experiences. His research interests include a broad spectrum of accounting and auditing disciplines, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), internal auditing, financial statement analysis, financial accounting, and assurance services. With more than a decade of professional experience, Dr. Alareeni has served in key accounting roles across various sectors, including banking, governmental agencies, NGOs, and the private sector. This practical background enhances his teaching and research by bringing real-world insights into the classroom and academic discourse.

Ayman Nassar focuses on water management and modeling from geo-spatial perspective. His work utilizes computer systems and technologies such as geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, statistical and machine learning, as well as HPC to perform the complex calculations necessary for massive spatial data.

Maha Mourad is a tenured professor of marketing and associate dean for undergraduate studies and administration at the School of Business, the American University in Cairo (AUC). She received her Ph.D. from The University of Nottingham Business School, UK. She had two post-doctoral research grants: The Fulbright Post-Doctoral Research Grant at George Washington University, DC, USA, and the Erasmus Mundus Post-Doctoral Research Grant at Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. Additionally, she was granted a Fulbright Scholar in Residence Grant at North Central College, Naperville, USA. Following that, She was a visiting associate professor of business studies at Drew University, USA. Her research interests focus on marketing and management in higher education.

Prof. Dr. Udo Braendle is the CEO of IMC Krems, where he is responsible for university management, research, and internationalization. Prior to this role, Prof. Udo spent over a decade in the Middle East, first as a lecturer in Saudi Arabia, and then for ten years as the Associate Dean of the School of Business Administration at the American University in Dubai and Dean of Dubai Business School at the University of Dubai. Prof. Udo also has many years of practical experience in the consulting and banking sector, specifically in corporate governance and compliance.
