for SATB and piano or orchestra

This piece is a choral adaptation of 'Aquarium' from The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns. The familiar theme blends seamlessly with the simple text, and the ephemeral high notes in the piano add a pleading quality to this meditative setting of the words 'dona nobis pacem'—'grant us peace'. This arrangement is compatible with the original Saint-Saëns' orchestration.
