Roger S. Bagnall, Ph.D. (1972) in Greek and Roman History, University of Toronto, is Professor of Classics and History at Columbia University. His publications include numerous editions of papyri and ostraka and studies in the history of Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine Egypt, including Egypt in Late Antiquity (1993).
Klaas A. Worp, Ph.D. (1972) in Classical Studies, UvA, is Senior Research Associate for Greek Papyrology in the Classics department at the University of Amsterdam and Professor of Papyrology in Leiden University. His publications include numerous editions of literary and documentary papyri and studies on a wide range of papyrological subjects.
