Anastasios Karasavvoglou is a professor of Economics at Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, and President of the annual conference. His research focuses on immigration, regional development, and labor markets, and he has published extensively in these fields.

Persefoni Polychronidou is an associate professor of Quantitative Methods in the Department of Economic Sciences at the International Hellenic University, Greece.
