Bochel, Hugh
Hugh Bochel is Professor of Public Policy at the University of Lincoln. He has published widely in the fields of social and public policy, including editing ‘The Conservative Party and social policy’

Powell, Martin
Martin Powell is a Professor of Health and Social Policy at the University of Birmingham. Martin’s main research interest is in the British welfare state, especially the NHS. He has written or edited some 19 books, including some being translated into Chinese, Korean, and Polish. He has written over 80 peer reviewed articles, and he is a former editor of the journal ‘Social Policy and Administration’.

Hugh Bochel is Professor of Public Policy at the University of Lincoln. He has published widely in the fields of social and public policy, including editing ‘The Conservative Party and social policy’.
Martin Powell is Professor of Health and Social Policy at the Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham. He is the editor of several books exploring the New Labour governments and the British welfare state.
