Here, provocations from established and early career scholars ponder the ways in which we can generate, challenge, and accelerate our understanding of emerging technologies. NICHOLAS DAVID BOWMAN, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. His research focuses on the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social demands of interactive media. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and has faculty affiliations in Canada, Mexico, and Taiwan.
