Buncic, Daniel
Daniel Buncic is a professor of Slavic linguistics at the University of Cologne. He received his PhD from the University of Bonn for a thesis on the 17th-century Ruthenian literary language and his post-doctoral lecturing qualification (habilitation) from the University of Tübingen for a thesis on a sociolinguistic typology of biscriptality. His varied fields of study include verbal semantics, the linguistics of writing, and sociolinguistics.
