Das, Satya P
Satya P Das is a Professor of Economics at the Statistical Institute, New Delhi. Previously, he was a Professor of Economics at Indiana University and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA, and has held visiting positions at various universities in different countries. He has authored the Class XII NCERT Textbook Introductory Microeconomics (2003) and the monograph New Perspectives on Business Cycles: An Analysis of Inequality and Heterogeneity (1993), and is a regular contributor to journals in economics. His current research interests include Economic Modelling of Terrorism, Impact of International Trade on Product Quality as well as various issues relating to Growth, Development and Distribution. He is the founding editor of Indian Growth and Development Review.

Goyal, J. K.
J. K. Goyal is a professor (earlier Director, 2005–2018) at Jagan Institute of Management Studies, New Delhi. He started his professional career as a lecturer at Delhi University. He graduated in economics (honours) from Panjab University, where he topped the university and was awarded the Gold Medal in Economics. Dr J. K. Goyal completed his Master’s degree in economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, and received the PhD degree from the Faculty of Commerce and Business, University of Delhi. He has over four decades of teaching experience both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, having taught subjects such as managerial economics, macroeconomic management and economic environment of business to MBA students, and microeconomics and business economics to BCom (H) and BBA students. He has presented papers at various national and international seminars and has written several articles. He has guided several MPhil and PhD scholars. His hobbies include playing tennis, trekking, globetrotting and listening to Sufi music.
