Dorling, Daniel
Danny Dorling is Halford Mackinder Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of St Peter’s College. He is a patron of RoadPeace, Comprehensive Future and Heeley City Farm. He has published over 50 books, including the best-selling Peak Inequality: Britain’s Ticking Timebomb (2018) and Injustice: Why Social Inequality Still Persists (2014).

Daniel Dorling is 1971 Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford. Before becoming a researcher and teacher he worked in children's playgroups and play-schemes. He has taught in universities in Newcastle, Bristol, Leeds and New Zealand. He is an Academician of the Academy of the Learned Societies in the Social Sciences, a patron of the charity RoadPeace and is current president of the Society of Cartographers.
