Über Autor(innen)

Bridget Elliott is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Visual Arts at Western University in London, Ontario. She has published widely in the area of twentieth century art with books and articles on women artists and on contemporary filmmakers who reference art history. She recently edited Breaking and Entering: The Contemporary House Cut, Spliced and Haunted (2015) and is currently completing her own monograph, The Diffusion of Art Deco: Mainstreaming Modernism.

Michael Windover is Associate Professor in the School for Studies in Art and Culture at Carleton University where he teaches the History and Theory of Architecture Program. He is cross-appointed to the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture at Carleton and is adjunct curator of design at the Canada Science and Technology Museum. He is author of Art Deco: A Mode of Mobility (2012) and co-author with Anne MacLennan of Seeing, Selling, and Situating Radio in Canada, 1922-1956 (2017).
