Elizabeth Ellsworth is Emeritus Professor of Media Studies at The New School, New York City, where she is co-director of smudge studio. She is co-editor (with Jamie Kruse) of Making the Geologic Now: Responses to Material Conditions of Contemporary Life and also author of Teaching Positions: Difference, Pedagogy, and the Power of Address.
