Dr. Smain Femmam is a Senior Director of Research at the University of Haute-Alsace (UHA), France. He holds a Ph.D. in Signal Processing from Versailles University and an HDR. He has worked as a Visiting Professor at Carnegie Mellon and West Virginia University. He has published more than 150+ research papers and books on signal processing, safety systems, and embedded systems. He co-founded LACSC and L3S in Paris and has developed graduate courses in electronics, control, communication and robotics. Dr. Femmam is Vice President of IETI Executive Committee, IEEESM, SEE member, Fellow Member IETI, IDSAI, IETI Board of Director and an editor for 20+ journals, including general Chair of several IEEE conferences. He has received multiple awards, including the Outstanding Researcher Award.

Dr. Pascal Lorenz is a Professor at the University of Haute-Alsace (UHA), France. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Nancy and worked at WorldFIP Europe and Alcatel-Alsthom before joining UHA. He leads the Network and Telecommunication Research Group, focusing on Quality of Service (QoS) and high-speed networks. He has authored 200+ publications, 3 books, and holds 3 patents. Dr. Lorenz has been a Technical Editor for IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Network, and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. He has held key IEEE roles, including Chair of IEEE ComSoc France.
