When Governor John White sailed for England from Roanoke Island in August 1587, he left behind more than 100 men, women and children. They were never seen again by Europeans. Über Autor(innen)

Retired educator, Brandon Fullam has been engaged for a number of years in historical research connected with the early European-Native contact period in general and the ""lost"" 1587 colony in particular. He have written extensively on this topic and some of his work has appeared in publications of the Lost Colony Research Group as well as the Sampson County Historical Society. He lives in Midlothian, Virginia.
