Dr. Bivina G. R. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, with a specialization in Transportation Engineering. She earned her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, where her thesis focused on assessing the pedestrian level of service for sidewalks through qualitative evaluation. Dr. Bivina has an impressive academic background, including a Master of Technology in Transportation Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Kerala University. Her research interests lie in pedestrian behavior and safety, sustainable urban transport, and human factors in transportation engineering. She has been actively involved in various academic projects and has published numerous research papers in reputed journals like Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behavior, Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, Transport, Sustainable Cities & Societies, Environment, Development and Sustainability Journal etc. She has presented more than 20 research papers at various National and International conferences and Journals of repute on various issues related to Traffic and Transportation Engineering. She has supervised 10 M.Tech dissertations. Presently, 3 M.Tech and 2 PhD dissertations is ongoing. In addition to her academic achievements, she has also received multiple awards and fellowships, such as the SERB-DST Travel Grant for attending 103rd Transportation Research Board (TRB) at Washington D.C., USA on January 2024 and the Cairo University Prize for the best paper in developing countries presented at World Conference of Transportation Studies (WCTR) held at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2019. She is leading significant sponsored research projects, including those funded by Science Engineering Research Board (SERB) Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), International Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE), Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, International Research Grant (IRG) by East Asian Society of Transportation Studies (EASTS) etc. Dr. Bivina has delivered expert lectures, coordinated workshops and training programs, and actively participated in numerous conferences and symposiums. She is a member of several professional bodies in traffic and transportation engineering.

Dr. Pritikana Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, with specialization in Transportation Engineering. She completed her Ph.D. in 2017 from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, where her research centered on macroscopic pedestrian flow modelling and Level of Service development. She has done M.Tech in Transportation Engineering from MANIT Bhopal and B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the NIT Durgapur. Dr. Das began her career as Scientist-C at CSIR–Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi, in Transport Planning Division contributing to national-level projects in Parking Dmand modelling, pedestrian safety, traffic flow analysis, and highway capacity enhancement. She joined MANIT Bhopal in 2020 as an Assistant Professor in 2023. Her research interests span pedestrian behavior and safety, surrogate safety assessment, traffic flow theory, sustainable urban transport systems, parking policy and management, trip generation modelling, and road asset management. She has authored several international journal papers in reputed publications such as Physica A, European Transport, Transportation Letters, Heliyon, Innovative Infrastructure Solutions, and the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering. She has also published more than 20 papers at international conferences and contributed multiple book chapters and technical reports. Dr. Das has led and completed several sponsored R&D projects funded by CSIR-CRRI, NRIDA/MoRD, and MANIT, amounting to over ?2 crores. She has executed more than 25 consultancy projects involving pavement design, geometric design, road safety evaluation, structural vetting, and quality assessment of highway works. She has supervised one Ph.D. scholar (awarded) and currently mentors five Ph.D. scholars along with 30 postgraduate and undergraduate students. An active member of professional bodies, she contributes to the Indian Roads Congress (IRC), IRC H-8 Committee, CTRG, WCTRS, and serves as a State Technical Agency (STA) member for PMGSY.

Dr. K. Krishnamurthy is presently Professor, in the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Calicut, India. He graduated in Civil Engineering from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore in 1993 and obtained post graduate degree in Urban Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 1996. He completed his doctoral degree in Transportation Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has over 25 years of experience in teaching and research in Traffic and Transportation Engineering. The areas of academic and research interest include Traffic flow modeling, Road safety analysis, non-motorized transport, Transport economic analysis and Environmental impact assessment of transport etc. Besides teaching, he has guided several post-graduate students, research scholars and published over 75 research and technical papers at various conferences and in national and international journals. He is a core member in the Centre for Transportation Research (CTR) - a centre of excellence established at NIT Calicut founded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Dr. Krishnamurthy is a certified "Road Safety Engineer and Auditor" Accredited by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) Govt. of India. Also, he is a member in several professional bodies in the area of traffic and transportation engineering.

Dr. Samson Mathew completed his B. Tech Degree from University of Kerala, in the year 1985, M. Tech. Degree from University of Calicut in 1988 and Ph.D from University of Calicut in 1996. He joined National Institute of Technology (formerly Regional Engineering College), Tiruchirappalli in the year 1994. Dr. Samson Mathew is currently working as the Professor of Civil Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. He also heads the Centre of Excellence in Transportation Engineering (CETransE) at NIT Tiruchirappalli. He is a member of State Technical Agency of Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana program for Tamilnadu and Pondicherry. Formerly, Dr. Samson Mathew was the Dean (Students Welfare) at NIT, Tiruchirappalli. He was the Convener of Hostels and Chief Warden. He was the Chief of Works for three years at NITT and played an instrumental role in developing the infrastructure of the campus. Dr. Samson Mathew was the Director of KSCSTE-National Transportation Planning and Research Centre (NATPAC) in Kerala for five years on deputation from NITT. He has guided 90 Post Graduate thesis works in various fields of Transportation Engineering. Twelve scholars have completed Ph.D. and currently two Ph.D. scholars are working under his guidance. He has published more than 70 papers in reputed journals and more than 100 papers in National and International level conferences. He received the young scientist award for the year 1994. He has successfully completed fourteen projects sponsored by government bodies like, Ministry of Human Resources Development, National Rural Road Development Agency, Ministry of Urban Development, Coir Board, etc. with the total cost of completed projects being Rs. 749 lakhs. Currently, he is coordinating a sponsored project with a total grant of Rs.75 lakhs with Coir Board.He is a life member of the professional organizations such as Indian Roads Congress, Indian Society for Technical Education, Institute of Urban Transport, Institution of Engineers and Transport Research Group of India. He has been serving as Chairman and committee member for the preparation of various guidelines for IRC.
