This book delivers a practical, straightforward approach to pressure dynamics and well control integrity, making complex safety concepts accessible to both new and experienced drilling, operations, and production engineers. Built on thirty years of international field experience spanning diverse oil and gas provinces across four continents, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and the North Sea, the author shares hard-won insights that bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.

The content focuses on what truly matters: recognizing early warning signs of pressure imbalance, safeguarding wellbore stability, and taking decisive action to prevent uncontrolled fluid releases. Unlike traditional textbooks, this book avoids unnecessary jargon and instead uses numerous diagrams, practical tables, hands-on exercises, and clear flowcharts to illustrate each concept from multiple angles.

Whether you are beginning your career or have spent decades in the field, this book offers actionable solutions and real case examples that can be applied immediately to enhance safety, sharpen operational judgment, and improve reliability in daily well control decisions.
