Clifford Gross is CEO of Tekcapital plc (UK), a public technology commercialization company focused on transforming university-derived innovations into high-growth enterprises. With more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning academia, intellectual property strategy, and capital markets, he has dedicated his career to bridging the gap between research laboratories and global markets. Previously, Dr. Gross served as CEO of Innovacorp, the provincial venture capital fund of Nova Scotia and held senior academic appointments including Acting Director of the Graduate Program in Biomechanics and Ergonomics at New York University, Chairman of the Nelson Rockefeller Department of Biomechanics at the New York Institute of Technology, and Research Professor at the University of South Florida. He is the author or co-author of multiple books, including (Springer, 2013), and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. His work focuses on the commercialization of intellectual property, AI-enabled innovation ecosystems, and scalable models for translating research into products that can improve the quality of life and enhance enterprise value.
