Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib is professor and head of the Management Department at the School of Business
and Entrepreneurship (SBE), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). He is a visiting scientist at the
Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Texas–Arlington, USA. He also serves as visiting professor
at UNIRAZAK, Malaysia; UCSI University, Malaysia; Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Philippines; Beijing Wuzi University, China; and Universitas Ciputra, Indonesia. He is actively involved in PhD supervision both locally and internationally. Currently, he supervises eight PhD scholars globally, while 13 PhD scholars have already been awarded under his supervision. He has more than 23 years of experience in teaching, training, workshops, consultancy, and research. His profile has been featured in Britishpedia’s Successful People in Malaysia and Singapore section by the British Publication House, UK.

Prof. Habib has published around 250 research works, including conference proceedings, journal articles, and book chapters/books. Among them, more than 80 articles are indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. He also serves as editor-in-chief and editorial board member of various international journals. He has delivered keynote speeches at more than 100 international conferences across different countries and has conducted over 250 webinars and workshops locally and internationally. He completed his PhD and MS in Computer and Engineering Management (CEM) at Assumption University, Thailand, with outstanding performance. His core research areas include supply chain management, operations management, and research methodology.

Prof. Habib is an active member of several professional organizations, including IEEE (senior member); IEOM, USA; chartered fellow (FCILT), CILT International (UK); VCARE Academy, Canada; and AICRO, Australia, among others. He is also involved in business school accreditation, serving as AACSB Virtual Ambassador and ACBSP Evaluator, as well as the principal contact person for AACSB and ACBSP at IUB. In addition, he contributes as an academic participant in the QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education Rankings. He is also connected with industry as a consultant with organizations such as AmCham (American
Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh), USAID, and BAFFA, among others.

Dr. Ferdoush Saleheen, PhD, FCILT, is an academic and industry leader in Supply Chain Management, Maritime Logistics, and Business Transformation, with over 20 years of experience across multinational corporations and higher education institutions in Asia and the Middle East. He currently serves as head of the Maritime Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department at Sharjah Maritime Academy (SMA), UAE, where he contributes to research, teaching, and industry collaboration in global maritime logistics and supply chain systems.

Before joining SMA in March 2025 as an assistant professor, he served at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), UAE, including as academic program chair. He has taught at BRAC University and the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and has delivered guest lectures at the University of Hull (UK).

Prior to academia, he held senior leadership roles in the FMCG, electronics, retail, and agribusiness sectors, including chief supply chain officer at Partex Star Group and Akij Food and Beverage Limited, and head of supply chain at LG Butterfly Bangladesh, leading large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives. Dr. Saleheen has conducted 100+ corporate training programs and authored 34+ publications, including Scopus/WoS journal articles, book chapters, and international conference papers. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals and is series co-editor of the Sustainable Industry-Focused Supply Chain Management book series with
Taylor & Francis Group (CRC Press, USA).

He holds a PhD in Operations Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia, an MS in Logistics from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an MBA from Victoria University (Australia). He is chartered fellow (FCILT) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT International, UK). Dr. Ferdoush completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib.
