This book explains the basic elements that readers need to know about amorphous silicon material and a-Si:H TFTs. Zoubeida Hafdi earned the State degree in Electronics and the Magister degree in Electronics with honors from the University of Constantine, Algeria in 1991 and 1995, respectively; and the Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics with honors from the university of Batna in 2005. She is currently a Full Professor in Electronics at Batna 2 University, in Batna, Algeria. Her research interests mainly include thin-film transistors and their applications, IC design and photovoltaics.
