Randy L. Haupt, PhD, is a Fellow of IEEE, ACES, AAIA, and the Electromagnetics Academy and an internationally recognized authority on antenna arrays and electromagnetic optimization. His nearly five-decade career spans industry, U.S. government laboratories, and academia, where he has contributed as an author, researcher, educator, and consultant in antenna array design, adaptive arrays, and optimization.

Payam Nayeri, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, USA, and a Senior Member of IEEE. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters and is lead author of Reflectarray Antennas: Theory, Designs, and Applications. His research spans surface electromagnetics, phased arrays, digital arrays, and machine learning applications. He received the 2010 IEEE AP-S Doctoral Research Award.
