Dr. Chaminda Hewage currently serves as an associate dean of Research in the Cardiff School of Technologies at Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. He obtained a B.Sc. Engineering (First Class Honours Degree) in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna (Sri Lanka) in 2004, followed by a Ph.D. in Multimedia Communications from the University of Surrey (UK) in 2009. Recognized for his outstanding undergraduate performance, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Engineering excellence in 2014 by the University of Ruhuna. Beginning his professional career as a Telecommunication Engineer at Sri Lanka Telecom (Pvt.) Ltd. in 2004, Hewage received the Overseas Research Scholarships (ORS) award from the Higher Education Funding Council of England in 2005 to pursue his Ph.D. at the University of Surrey. 

Dr. Nishtha Kesswani received the M.Tech. degree from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Rajasthan. From 2014 to 2015, she was a post-doctoral researcher with California State University at San Bernardino, USA. She has a vivid teaching experience at several reputed universities, including California State University at San Bernardino and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has visited more than 15 countries and delivered invited talks at several conferences and workshops. She is currently with the Central University of Rajasthan, India. Her current research interests include wireless networks and Internet of Things. She has received prestigious awards, including the UGC Raman Postdoctoral Fellowship tenable in USA and the Young Teacher Award. She has edited a number of journals special issues as a guest editor. 

Dr. Angesh Anupam is a data scientist having interdisciplinary research experience since 2014. Prior to joining Cardiff Met in 2020, Dr Anupam worked as a full time academic in Norway where he was responsible for curriculum design, teaching, research, and consultancy in applied data science. He was born in India, moved to the UK in 2013 for his masters degree from the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Sheffield (UoS). In 2014, he was awarded a Ph.D. studentship by the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, UoS for doing his Ph.D. research in Dynamical Systems Modelling. He has delivered research talks at many international conferences, including United Nations Conference on Climate Change.

Prof. A.M. Khan is presently a professor and chairman of Department of Electronics, Mangalore University. He is the key person behind the recently established Responsible AI cluster (funded by the Global Wales—Karnataka Partnership Projects 2023) for Higher Education between Mangalore University and Cardiff School of Technologies—Cardiff Metropolitan University. His research areas include Research in Biomedical Signal Processing, Embedded System Design and VLSI Technology.

Prof. B.H. Shekar is a senior professor at Department of Computer Science, Mangalore University. His research area includes Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, Database Systems, Algorithms and he has around 30 years of teaching experience.
