In his pathbreaking Israel in Egypt, James K. Hoffmeier refuted the claims of scholars who questioned the historical accuracy of the biblical account of the Israelite sojourn in Egypt. The major focus of the book will be on the actual location of Mount Sinai, which some scholars have sought to locate in northern Arabia and not in the Sinai peninsula as traditionally thought.
