Über Autor(innen)

Helgi Thor Ingason is Professor at Reykjavik University, Iceland, where he chairs the Master of Project Management (MPM) programme and the Sustainability Institute & Forum (SIF). He is an IPMA Certified Executive Trainer in Project Management, an IPMA Certified Senior Project Manager, and a management consultant. He holds a PhD from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), an MSc from the University of Iceland, and a Stanford Advanced Project Management certification. His research focuses on project management, quality management, sustainability, and energy systems. Helgi Thor is the author and co-author of several books in English and Icelandic and has published his research in several international journals. He has also served in several senior leadership positions, including Research Coordinator of IPMA and interim CEO of Reykjavik Energy and SORPA.

Jaakko Kujala is Professor of Project and Quality Management at the Industrial Engineering and Management Research Unit, University of Oulu, Finland. He holds an MSc in Information Technology and a Doctor of Technology degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Helsinki University of Technology. He has over ten years of practical experience in developing quality management systems in different roles in industry. His research and teaching have focused on how different management approaches and methods should be applied in ways that take into account the specific context, needs, and characteristics of organizations. His current research interests also include how organizations can make effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence in their operations, management practices, and organizational development. He has authored more than 150 scientific publications in international journals, conferences, and books.
