Professor Hamid R. Jafari holds MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, USA, and is Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Tehran, Iran. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Environmental Studies and the Encyclopedia of Economics. He is currently acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Education at the University of Tehran, and has responsibility for the core educational activities of the university including undergraduate and postgraduate coursework. His recent publications include Project Management and Electronic Waste Management.
Dr Saeed Karimi is an Iranian environmental scientist and received his PhD degree in Environmental Planning at the University of Tehran, Iran, where he is currently Assistant Professor in the Faculty of the Environment. He has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of environmental impact assessment, health impact assessment, health, safety and the environment, risk assessment, land use planning, and environmental planning.
Fatemeh Sadat Alavipoor obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2012. She gained her MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 2016, and is currently a PhD student at the same institution. She has published many journal papers and presented many conference papers, and is currently working on a number of international projects.
