Mark Kearns is a Senior Technology Manager (Rotational Moulding) for Sustainable Polymers & Composites within the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) at Queen’s University, Belfast, N. Ireland. A chartered Chemical Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, he has a master’s degree in Rotational Moulding. For more than 30 years, Mark has been involved extensively in managing and directing rotational moulding research, development, innovation, technology transfer and industrial support projects. Expertise includes rotational moulding polymer processing, product development and process optimisation. He has been active in Technology Transfer projects with companies and industrial trade associations across Europe, Australasian, South Africa and America. Co-author of three books and over 60 papers, Mark has presented advanced technical seminars and keynote presentations on rotational moulding technology in Europe, South Africa, Australasia, Central & South America and the United States.
