Baojun Li received his Ph.D. degree in semiconductor devices and microelectronics from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China in 1998. He then worked at Fudan University, Singapore-MIT Alliance and National University of Singapore, Sun Yat-sen University, and University of Oxford from 1998 to 2009. After that, he came back to Sun Yat-sen University as a Cheung Kong Distinguished Professor. In July 2016, he moved to Jinan University, where he serves as the Director of the Institute of Nanophotonics. His research focus on micro-/nanophotonics and biophotonics.

Yuchao Li received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in optical engineering from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He is currently an associate professor at Jinan University and a deputy director for Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Nanophotonic Manipulation. His research interests lie in biophotonic manipulation and imaging. He serves as a guest editor for Biomedical Optics Express and Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences.

Hongbao Xin received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in optical engineering from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2011 and 2016, respectively. After graduation, he continued his research at the National University of Singapore and the University of California at Berkeley. He joined Jinan University in Guangzhou, China in 2018 as a professor. His research interests focus on optical manipulation and biophotonics.
