Professor Lin serves as a professor in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China since 1986, Now in charge of Consulting Director, PM Teaching and Research Center, School of Mechanical Engineering; and Technical Director, Institute of Engineering Management, School of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Construction Engineering, devoted to the teaching and research in engineering and management as well as the consulting work for more than 50 years. In 1990s, he has been research professor in Cornell University, USA and in Hog Kong University.
Professor Lin has been the author of seven books (Economic Analyses and B&T Decision; System Analyses and Computer Solutions; Conceptual Design of Structures; Comparative Design of Structures, Quantitative Management; Planning and Design of Smart Residential Zone, etc.) and near about two hundreds of papers, edited around dozen of Proceedings and special volumes in Engineering and Management.
Dr. Huang received the B.E. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2002, and the M.E. (with first class honors) and the Ph.D. degree from The University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He was a Lecturer at the University of Auckland in 2009 and has been with Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2010. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2011, he was a visiting professor at Sloan School of Management, MIT.
His current research interests include nonlinear modeling and analysis, fuzzy logic control, networked control systems, human factor modelling, and project management. Dr. Huang has published one monograph with Springer. He has published extensively at leading journals and flagship conferences. He is the founding and Co-Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Sensors, Wireless Communication, and Control, published by Bentham Science Publishers.
