This book aims to investigate multifunctional land use under China's eco-territorial construction by assessing the value, trade-offs, and zoning of land-use functions and further reveal the impacts of eco-territorial construction on multifunctional land use by analyzing the interaction and threshold effect of urbanization and ecological restoration on land-use functions’ trade-offs. A combination of multiple approaches will be applied in this book including content analysis, econometrical methods, mathematical statistical methods, and spatial econometric models. Policy suggestions will be provided to improve sustainable and rational land use coping with the challenges of resource constraints and environmental pressure. This book will contribute to the understanding the strategy of contemporary China’s multifunctional land use and its responds to eco-territorial construction, while also shed lights on the national territory planning schemes for the policymakers to achieve the coordinated unity of ecological protection, economic development, and social progress.
