Carlos Lodeiro is Professor in Chemistry at the LAQV-REQUIMTE, NOVA FCT, NOVA University Lisbon, Portugal, teaching Inorganic Chemistry, BioInorganic Chemistry, Instrumental Methods of Analysis since 2012, Chemistry of the Elements since 2015, Metals in Biology and Medicine since 2020 and Polymers for Bioaplications since 2023. He has published 350 papers in leading journals, several book chapters and patents.

Elisabete Oliveira is Assistant Professor at the LAQV-REQUIMTE, NOVA FCT, NOVA University Lisbon, Portugal, teaching Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Instrumental Methods of Analysis since 2012, and Forensic Chemistry since 2025. She was awarded with the Prize for Women in Science, “Medalhas de Honra L’Oréal Portugal para as Mulheres na Ciência” in the field of Health Sciences in 2016. She has published 96 papers in leading journals, and several book chapters.
