Longo, Michela
Professor Michela Longo is a researcher with knowledge and experience in the development of optimization algorithms in the world of electric mobility. She is the author of 2 books, book chapters and more than 280 articles that have appeared in international scientific journals, international conference proceedings and national journals. She leads international scientific collaborations with the CanmetENERGY Research Centre Natural Resources Canada of Ottawa, University of Malaga and Cadiz and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Tokyo Metropolitan University.

Yaici, Wahiba
Wahiba Yaici is a Research Scientist at the CanmetENERGY Research Centre of Natural Resources Canada in Ottawa, Canada, where she is leading R&D projects on renewables and integrated energy systems. She leads and develops hybrid renewable power and energy technologies for building applications and for the electric vehicles. Previously, Dr. Yaici worked as Technical Expert, Scientific Authority and Project Manager at reputed companies, namely, Natural Gas Technologies Centre (Energir-Engie), KSH (RWE), BPR-Bechtel (Tetra-Tech), and Rolls-Royce, in Montreal, Canada, where she has been a key contributor to many multi-million-dollar R&D and large industrial projects. She was also an Associate Professor and Manager of the Fossil Energy Valorisation Laboratory at the National Polytechnic School, Algiers, Algeria, and Adjunct Professor, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Dr. Yaici is author and coauthor of more than 150 refereed journal articles, conference papers and book chapters. She has also written more than 100 confidential technical reports for industrial projects. She is reviewer for many international scientific journals, is a member of ASME, ASHRAE, IEEE, IEEE PES, International Solar Energy Society, Canadian Artificial Intelligence Association, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario (PEO), Canada. Dr. Yaici received her Ph.D. in Process Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, Nancy, France.
