Über Autor(innen)

Guy Martin, who is currently professor of political science at Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC) has over 30 years of teaching and research experience in International Studies. He taught International Relations and International Organizations at various diplomatic institutions in Africa—Institute of International Relations of Cameroon, Yaounde; Institute of Diplomacy & International Studies, Nairobi; School of Government, University of the Western Cape, Cape Town—and at various U.S academic institution, notably The American University, University of Virginia, and New York University. In addition to Africa in World Politics: A Pan-African Perspective, Guy is co-editor (with Chris Alden) of France and South Africa: Towards A New Engagement with Africa (Pretoria: Protea Book House, 2003); and co-author (with Mueni wa Muiu) of A New Paradigm of the African State: Fundi wa Afrika (New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2009).

Mueni wa Muiu, is currently associate professor of political science at Winston-Salem State University, where she teaches International Relations.
