A. P. Martinich is Roy Allison Vaughan Centennial Professor in Philosophy and Professor of History and Government at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author or editor of 15 books, including The Philosophy of Language (5th edn., 2007) and A Companion to Analytic Philosophy (edited with David Sosa, 2001).

David Sosa is Professor and Chair in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin.
