Dr. Utkal Mehta received the PhD degree in the area of system identification and process control from IIT Guwahati, India. He works as an Associate Professor in electrical and electronics engineering at The University of the South Pacific, Fiji Islands. His current research interests include process identification, applied fractional calculus for modeling, and fractional-order filter design on re-configurable devices like FPGA, FPAA and various robotics applications for medical and industrial automation.

Dr. Sudipta Chakraborty received the M.Tech and PhD degrees in Electrical engineering from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. Currently, he works as an assistant professor in the electronics and instrumentation engineering department of the National Institute of Technology Silchar. His research includes Process Control, PID Control, Time-delay, and fractional order systems.
