Daily Management (DM) is a structured method that empowers managers and employees to establish a team-based, continuous improvement process. DM focuses on transparency by setting standards and key performance indicators, facilitating performance discussions centered on achievable goals, identifying deviations, and supporting on-site management of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle. Digital Daily Management takes these principles to the next level by leveraging digital solutions. This book simplifies the process, making it easy to understand and implement.

Digital Daily Management: Transforming Data to Improvement covers a pressing issue faced by production companies and provides a comprehensive roadmap for implementing efficient digital daily management. Drawing on extensive research and bolstered by a wealth of real-world examples, including four illuminating case studies from top industry players, this resource also offers valuable insights into the implications of artificial intelligence on this methodology. Readers will have access to downloadable templates that can streamline the implementation process. These resources include Excel templates for calculating return on investment, conducting daily management audits and outlining specifications, as well as a detailed implementation guide.

Production managers, lean managers, operations managers, researchers, and students will appreciate the step-by-step instructions on how to introduce digital daily management to further strengthen an organization's problem-solving ability.

The authors created hands-on templates for readers' digitalisation projects. Please download them from sfmsystems.de or scan the QR code in the book.
