Sarma, Hemen
Dr. Hemen Sarma is an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany at Bodoland University, India, whose multidisciplinary research spans plant sciences, environmental sustainability, nanobiotechnology, and agriculture. His work advances understanding of plant-environment interactions and sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on emerging pollutants, plant-microbe interactions, and biochar technology.
Recognized internationally, Dr. Sarma was elected a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London and received the UNESCO-TWAS award for science popularization in the Global South. He is also acknowledged among the top 2% of most cited authors worldwide. His academic career spans over two decades, including a PhD in Botany with specialization in plant and environmental pollution from Gauhati University, India, and postdoctoral fellowships at institutions such as the University of Texas at El Paso, USA.

Mohanta, Yugal Kishore
Dr. Yugal Kishore Mohanta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Biology, School of Biological Sciences at the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM). His current research is green nanoparticles and its potential application in food and biomedicine. He earned his PhD in Life Sciences from North Orissa University, Baripada. He has also successfully completed the BCIL industrial training programme on Plant Tissue Culture sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology. Among other academic/research achievements, he was awarded as visiting research scholar at Department of Biology, KU Leuven, Belgium sponsored by KU Leuven. He has more than ten years research experience on natural products chemistry and nanobiotechnology. He has published in peer-reviewed SCI-indexed journals like BMC Plant Biology, Frontiers in Microbiology, Molecules, Frontiers on Plant science, Frontiers in molecular biosciences Nanobiotechnology, and Materials Focus. He has also contributed 11 book chapters and edited a book.

Narayan, Mahesh
Dr. Mahesh Narayan is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at El Paso in the United States. Dr Narayan obtained his B.Sc. in Physics from Bombay University [1991], Ph.D. in Biophysics from The Ohio State University [1997], and pursued postdoctoral studies at Cornell University, USA [1997-2000] and was a Sr. Res. Assoc. at Cornell University [2002-05], USA. He has authored and co-authored several articles and book chapters in the fields of free radical biology, protein-structure function, oxidative folding, and protein misfolding, halogen bonding and in silico drug design, agricultural impact of nanomaterials, and chemical education. His work has been recognized by invitations to speak at over 15 international forums, as well as coverage in a variety of media outlets. The overall goal of his research program is to develop a better understanding of the intracellular processes and events that underlying the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders. He is particularly interested in the effects of xenobiotics on amyloid proteins. This is since the majority of neurodegenerative disorders are sporadic, and environmental agents such as pesticides and certain drugs of abuse are risk factors for such neuropathies.
