Ang, Wei Lun
Dr. Wei Lun Ang is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Sustainable Process Technology (CESPRO), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. in 2016 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, where his doctoral research focused on integrated membrane desalination processes in collaboration with Qatar University and Swansea University. His expertise lies in membrane technology, hybrid water and wastewater treatment systems, nanotechnology applications, and sustainable resource recovery from wastes. Dr. Ang leads and participates in several international research projects, including grants supported by The Royal Society (UK) and the Qatar National Research Fund, and collaborates widely with academic and industry partners on sustainable water management. He has delivered invited talks at international institutions, including the University of Technology Sydney, and served as a visiting scholar at Swansea University. Dr. Ang has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to book chapters, and serves as a reviewer for leading journals in environmental and chemical engineering.

Sarkar, Priyanka
Dr. Priyanka Sarkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Techno India University, West Bengal. She earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur in 2021, where she was awarded the DBT-BET JRF fellowship during her doctoral studies. Her research focuses on wastewater treatment and bioprocess engineering, addressing sustainable solutions for environmental challenges. Since 2015, Dr. Sarkar has authored peer-reviewed publications in SCI/SCOPUS-indexed journals and contributed to several book chapters. She is actively involved in the scientific community as a reviewer for leading international journals. Alongside her academic contributions, she mentors students and engages in collaborative projects that integrate biological and engineering approaches for wastewater remediation. Through her teaching, research, and service, Dr. Sarkar continues to make a meaningful impact in advancing the field of environmental biotechnology and developing innovative methods for waste management.

Chakrabortty, Sankha
Dr. Sankha Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biotechnology and Chemical Technology at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering in 2013 and has more than a decade of research and teaching experience in environmental engineering and green technology. His work focuses on sustainable waste management, advanced treatment technologies, and resource recovery, with applications across chemical and environmental industries. Since 2014, Dr. Chakraborty has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, and filed several patents related to environmental technologies. He has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Springer Best Paper Award in 2015, the Best Researcher Award in 2020, and the NESA Young Scientist of the Year Award in 2020. In addition to his research, he actively mentors graduate and doctoral students, fostering innovation and practical solutions to global environmental challenges.

Nayak, Jayato
Dr. Jayato Nayak is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Life Sciences, Mahindra University, Hyderabad, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and has been actively engaged in research since 2013, with expertise in process intensification, bioprocess engineering, water and wastewater treatment, graphene-integrated photocatalyst development, and biosynthesis of value-added products. Dr. Nayak has established collaborations with leading institutions in India, including IITs, NITs, and CSIR laboratories, as well as international partners in Poland, Brazil, Malaysia, and Vietnam. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, books, and patents, and he has contributed as an editor and reviewer for more than 15 international journals. Since 2015, he has frequently been invited as a resource person for national and international workshops, webinars, and faculty development programs. He has been recognized with two best research awards and five distinguished awards from professional bodies, reflecting his significant contributions to chemical and environmental engineering research.

Paul, Indrani
Dr. Indrani Paul is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Brainware University, West Bengal. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur in 2020. Her research centers on sustainable waste management and valorisation, with a particular focus on converting waste into valuable products, environmental bioremediation, and microbiological approaches to pollution control. Since 2015, Dr. Paul has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters in the field of biotechnology and environmental sciences. She also participates actively in academic collaborations and professional networks, enhancing the impact of her research on waste-to-wealth technologies. Through her teaching and mentoring, she integrates her research expertise into the classroom, encouraging innovation and critical thinking among students. Her contributions aim to provide sustainable and practical solutions to pressing environmental challenges while advancing the scope of environmental biotechnology.
