Über Autor(innen)

Ngcobo, Ntebo
Dr. Ngcobo holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. She is currently the Head of the Civil Engineering Technology Dept. at the University of Johannesburg and oversees several research activities within the department. Her research interest cut across diverse areas in the built environment including maintenance of construction works. In collaboration with other researchers, she has authored several conference papers and journal articles.

Aigbavboa, Clinton
Clinton Aigbavboa is a Professor of Sustainable Construction Digitalisation & Construction Industry Research at the University of Johannesburg. He holds a PhD in Engineering Management, a Master’s in Construction Management, and certifications in Good Governance and Artificial Intelligence from MIT. He has authored 27 research books, co-authored 6 edited books, and published over 1000 accredited journal articles and conference papers. As Director of the Sustainable Human Settlement and Construction Research Centre and Acting Director of the South Africa Research Chair for Sustainable Construction Management, Prof. Aigbavboa has graduated over 180 Master's and 70 PhD students. His research interests include Construction 4.0, smart cities, sustainable human development, and digitalisation in construction.

Aghimien, Douglas
Douglas Aghimien is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Technology, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a Fellow of the UK’s Higher Education Academy and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building. He is a rated researcher by the National Research Foundation of South Africa and is keenly interested in construction management, digitalisation, and sustainable construction. He has co-authored books on construction digitalisation, workforce management, maintenance engineering, and risk management. He has continued to further the sustainable built environment discourse to optimise diverse construction processes and practices.
