Now fully revised for its third edition, the Oxford Handbook of Sport and Exercise Medicine incorporates the latest guidance and regulations to provide a concise but authoritative overview of sports and exercise medicine that is invaluable for practitioners.

The Handbook considers common issues and problems resulting from sports and exercise, providing quick reference for those doctors working in the field to support diagnosis and treatment of the patient. Chapters are focused on different forms of medicine and treatment, depending on the area of the body affected, and are written by experts in their specialism. The Handbook is also an ideal source of reference for those sitting relevant postgraduate sport medicine exams. Practical, accessible, and clinically based, this is the single global reference for the undergraduate, postgraduate, or experienced specialist.

The third edition includes new chapters on cardiology and respiratory health, as well as revised guidance on sports and exercise nutrition, and diagnosis and treatment of sports related concussion (SRC).
