Dr. Ajith Manayil Parambil  is an MSCA OP JAK Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies (CEET), VSB–Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, and a Visiting Researcher at Tongji University, China. His research focuses on nanotechnology, advanced materials, environmental science, and biomedicine, with particular emphasis on carbon-based nanomaterials such as carbon dots and functional nanocomposites. His work spans applications in biosensing, nanomedicine, environmental monitoring, water purification, photocatalysis, antimicrobial and anticancer therapeutics, bioelectronic logic systems, and intelligent diagnostic platforms. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and has developed strong interdisciplinary expertise in nanobiotechnology and functional materials, alongside active contributions to scientific editing and peer-review activities.   Dr. Santanu Sasidharan is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, affiliated with the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Michael Smith Laboratories. His research centers on the development of therapeutics for infectious diseases, including small molecules, peptides, antibodies, and vaccines, alongside studies in protein biochemistry and biophysical characterization. His interdisciplinary work bridges molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics, contributing to advances in understanding and treating infectious diseases. He is also actively engaged in editorial responsibilities and is a member of several professional scientific societies supporting collaboration in protein science, biophysics, and biological chemistry.
