Kerry Petersen is an Associate Professor with the Law School at La Trobe University. She has published extensively in the field of human reproduction law and has co-edited Disputes and Dilemmas in Health Law (Federation Press). She has been involved in multi-disciplinary research as a Chief Investigator on two ARC Discovery-funded projects with research teams from the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (La Trobe University) and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (University of Melbourne) and is currently working on a project with colleagues from the Mother and Child Health Research Centre (La Trobe University). She is a member of the Medico-Legal Society of Victoria and Women’s Health Victoria, and is the lawyer on the Melbourne IVF Human Research Ethics Committee.
