Roger Plumb has spent more than 30 years working on the epidemiology and transmission of plant viruses, mainly of temperate cereals but also of tropical and subtropical crops. He recently retired as Head of Plant Pathology and Deputy Director from IACR-Rothamsted where he continues to work as a Lawes Trust Senior Fellow.
