Baijie Qiao is a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University. He is a Youth Scholar of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program and Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Health Management and Fault Tolerant Control. He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees at Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research focuses on vibration/acoustic measurement and aeroengine monitoring and diagnostics. He serves on the Youth Editorial Boards of Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Journal of Propulsion Technology, Journal of Aerospace Power, and Gas Turbine Experiment and Research. He has led over 20 national projects and published 96 SCI/EI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author in journals such as Journal of Sound and Vibration and Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing. He is first inventor on 35 authorized patents, including 4 international patents. His work has earned major honors including the Second Prize of the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, First Prize of AECC Award, First Prize of Shaanxi Technological Invention Award, and the First Prize of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering Award.
Zhibo Yang is a Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, and currently serves as Vice Dean of the Aeroengine Research Institute. He is the recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, Shaanxi Province Distinguished Young Scholar, and Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Shaanxi Province. His research interests include online monitoring and vibration measurement of rotating machinery, ultrasonic guided waves, fault diagnosis of wind turbines, and finite element techniques. He has published more than 150 SCI-indexed papers and holds over 80 authorized Chinese invention patents and 3 U.S. invention patents. He has led major research programs funded by NSFC, Key R&D Programs, etc. His achievements have been recognized with two Second Prizes of the State Science and Technology Awards and four First Prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels.
Zengkun Wang is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Equipment, Chang’an University. He received the Young Talent Fund of Xi’an Association for Science and Technology and the IEEE IMS Graduate Fellowship. His research includes online measurement and monitoring of rotating blades. He has led projects funded by the NSFC and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and has participated in National Key R&D Programs. In the past five years, he has published 17 SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author. He holds 2 U.S. patents and 18 Chinese invention patents.
Ming Zhong is the Deputy Director of the Measurement and Control Technology Research Department and a Research Fellow at AECC Sichuan Gas Turbine Establishment. He also serves as a Committee Member of the 8th Sensor Technology Committee of the Sichuan Electronics Society and is recognized as a technical leader in testing within the institute. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. at Xi'an Jiaotong University. His achievements include 3 Science and Technology Achievement Awards from the AECC, the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, 9 Chinese patents, and 10 academic papers.
Xuefeng Chen is a Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2004. He is Vice President of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, Chair of the IEEE IMS Technical Committee on Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis Instrument. His research includes fault diagnosis, sparse representation, deep learning, composite structures, aeroengines, and wind-power equipment. He received the First Prize of the Technological Invention Award of the Ministry of Education (2008, 2015), the State Technological Invention Award (Second Prize, 2009, 2018, and 2023), the First Prize of the Fok Ying Tung Young Teacher Award (2012), and the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education (2020). He was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2012) and the China Youth Science and Technology Award (2013). In 2015, he served as chief scientist for a National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program).
