This book aims to explore multidisciplinary perspectives on how AI can support innovation in water engineering and climate adaptation strategies. It brings together contributions from experts in environmental science, hydrology, data science, and sustainability studies to showcase state-of-the-art applications, identify limitations, and envision future directions where AI becomes a cornerstone of water resilience and climate-smart planning.

Water is one of the most critical resources for life, economic development, and environmental balance. However, increasing pressures from climate change, population growth, and urbanization are making water management more complex, uncertain, and fragile. In this context, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful technological ally, capable of transforming how we model, manage, and preserve water resources. The book aims to bridge the gap between data science, engineering, and policymaking by showcasing innovative AI-driven solutions that address water-related challenges in the context of global sustainability goals.

This book can serve as a valuable resource for students interested in artificial intelligence, environmental engineering, climate science, and sustainable development. Additionally, it can be a key reference for researchers and academics as it compiles the latest advancements and interdisciplinary approaches in these fields.
