Kelly Riedinger , Ph.D., is a senior researcher for the STEM Research Center at Oregon State University, USA. She has a Ph.D. in science education from the University of Maryland, USA and brings more than 25 years of experience in science education as a practitioner, researcher and evaluator. Her current research focuses on inclusion in informal science education for neurodivergent individuals. Kelly is on the editorial board for the Visitor Studies journal and is a member of the steering committee for the Social Science Research and Evaluation Scientific Advisory Group for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Grayson Ponti , M.A., is the founder and president of Zoos and Aquariums for a Neurodiverse Ecosystem (ZANE), a non-profit organization that supports zoos and aquariums implement neurodiversity-affirming practices that support all visitors. He is a neurodivergent individual (autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder) and has a background in conservation education. Grayson has worked as a professional at multiple zoos and aquariums and has contributed as a consultant and writer for a variety of zoo initiatives. Grayson is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquarium’s Diversity Committee, a co-PI on the NSF-funded Beyond Access project and serves as an advisor for Immense Universe and the NSF-funded Modeling Zoos and Aquariums as Inclusive Communities of Science for Autistic Individuals project.
