David Salomoni, Ph.D., University for Foreigners of Siena, is an Assistant Professor in History of Education. He has published monographs, articles, and edited volumes, such as Educating the Catholic People: Religious Orders and Their Schools in Early Modern Italy (2021) and A Global Earth in the Classroom: New Voices in the History of Early Modern Education (2024).

Luana Giurgevich, Ph.D., CIUHCT, University of Lisbon, is a researcher in the RUTTER Project, focusing on the circulation of scientific books, nautical technical literature, and early modern textual production. She has authored several books and articles, including Clavis Bibliothecarum: Catálogos e Inventários de Livrarias de Instituições Religiosas em Portugal até 1834 (co-authored with Henrique Leitão, 2016).

Henrique Leitão is Senior Researcher at the Department for the History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, of which is presently Pro-rector (Provost). He has published extensively on the history of 16th-17th century astronomy, cosmography and cartography. He is a member of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences and the Académie Internationale d'Histoire des Sciences. He has been awarded several academic prizes and distinctions, among which an ERC advanced grant in 2018.
