This is the 5th volume of Jean-Pierre Serre's Œuvres, collecting papers from 1998 to 2025.

The impact and influence of J-P. Serre's work have been notable ever since his doctoral thesis on homotopy groups. Über Autor(innen)

Jean-Pierre Serre is one of the most influential mathematicians of his time. His work helped shape modern algebra, topology, geometry and number theory. He held the Chair of Algebra and Geometry at the prestigious Collège de France for 38 years, lecturing annually on original topics. He has published widely and several of his books have become classics. A leading member of Bourbaki, he contributed to the success of the  reference books and the Séminaire Bourbaki. He remains the youngest winner of the Fields Medal and was the first Abel Prize laureate. He currently lives in Switzerland, close to Lausanne.
