Unscheduled maintenance can be logistically difficult and cost millions in lost production labor, parts and overtime costs. However, many maintenance programs lack the proper procedures to react to equipment or system breakdowns proactively rather than reactively. The problem is that even the most experience manager rarely posses the special skills required to recognize the symptoms of a broken work management process. Evaluating and Optimizing Your Current PM Program provides engineers and supervisors with the tools to evaluate the program, identify non-value added PMs and tasks.
